FOXWOODS RESORTS and CASINO- MINI GETAWAY

Hello beauties! Today I wanted share with you guys a review on a mini getaway to Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Now, if you're from New England, many of you have been to foxwoods or heard of it, but if you haven't its definitely worth the visit. It makes a perfect winter getaway because you don't have to leave the indoors at all. Honestly, I was surprised at the amount of activities, gaming and dining options foxwoods has to offer. Now, most people go to Foxwoods to party but you can also have a romantic and relaxing getaway. Foxwoods has three hotels on property, we stayed at the Fox Tower, which I thought was very convenient in terms of accessibility of things to do. The Fox tower houses various dining options, a shopping outlet, shrine nightclub and my favorite the G spa.
The drive to Foxwoods from Boston is right about two hours. The check in was friendly, there is a resort fee person that is required which gets you access to fitness center and outdoor pools in summer. We stayed in a King bed room which was spacious, well equipped and had comfortable beds.
ps. They even deliver bottle service to the room if you came to party!

When staying at Fox Tower, you should definitely check out the G spa, its literally so relaxing, pampering and soothing. Its an adults only spa with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool. The women's locker room is well equiped with refreshments, robes, slippers, snacks and beverages- all of which are complimentary with 15$ entrance fee. If you are trying to get some quiet spa time without spending too much on massages, I think visit to G spa is a great value. There is mellow-meditation music playing in the pool area and a fridge fully equipped with complimentary beverages that you can sip on while you relax in the 12 ft Jacuzzi or the pool. I totally enjoyed pampering myself at the G spa.

After the spa-time we changed and got dressed to go to Dinner. Our room had a book with list of all dining, fine and casual options listed with their appropriate location, as well other activities, which i thought is very convenient. We decided to check out Red Lantern which is a combination of restaurant/lounge. Its definitely more intimate/romantic ambience. The restaurant is an asian cuisine with all things sushi, fried rice(my personal fav) etc with a medium price range.
After the dinner our plan was to check out Shrine-an upscale lounge/nightclub, however its closed on Mondays and Wednesdays, Foxwoods has about 2-3 restaurants and bar, there is also a Hard Rock Cafe. We ended up spending rest of the night playing Blackjack and dancing at Centrale which is a mini dance stage in the Casino area of Fox Tower. If you're wondering if we won some $$, then the answer is yes, and then of course we spent it all on shopping and food- ha!

Next morning we ordered Room service breakfast which was delicious, and did some shopping at the Tanger Outlet. They even have an ice-skating rink on property which is now open. Honestly, there's plenty of things to do, unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of everything due to our short stay, but we will definitely we back during the end of the year. This was my third time and Foxwoods and there's always something new to do. Great winter getaway two hours from Boston.
